Paul Malloy, PhD

Paul Malloy, Ph.D. is Co-Director of the Memory & Aging Program. He also serves as Director of Psychology at Butler Hospital and  and Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Human Behavior at Brown Medical School. He received a PhD in clinical psychology in 1981 from Binghamton University.

Dr. Malloy has published over 80 scholarly articles, and co-authored two books on neuropsychiatric disorders. His current research interests include quantified neuroimaging, measurement of executive functions, and prediction of conversion to dementia in the elderly.

He has served since 1983 in the leadership of the Brown Psychology Training Consortium, the largest psychology training program in the country. He was Coordinator of the Neuropsychology Track of that program from 1983-2000, leading the track from its inception to its current status as one of the leading neuropsychology programs in the country. He is now Associate Director of the Brown Psychology Training Consortium, with responsibility for coordinating the T32 and F32 fellowship training programs. He was the first recipient of the Department's "Outstanding Teaching Award in Psychology" in 1994-1995.
