Mild to Moderate Alzheimer’s disease (AD)

The Memory & Aging Program, located on the campus of Butler Hospital, is conducting a clinical research study to determine the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of combining a statin with Aricept® for treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease.

Men and women 50 to 90 years of age who are in good health and have been diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease may be eligible to participate.

To be eligible individuals must have received treatment with Aricept® 10 mg for at least 3 months. Participation in the study lasts up to 20 months and includes 10 visits to the Memory & Aging Program.

A person who knows you well and is available to provide information about your day-to-day functioning is also required to accompany you.

All eligible participants will be provided with Aricept® 10 mg during the study duration. For more information, please contact the Memory & Aging Program at 401-455-6403.
