Clinical Study

Vascular Disease (VaD)

The Memory & Aging Program, located on the campus of Butler Hospital, is conducting a clinical research study to determine the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of a new medication for treating dementia associated with cerebrovascular disease (disease of the brain’s blood vessels).

Men and women at least 40 years old who are in good health and have been diagnosed with dementia associated with cerebrovascular disease may be eligible to participate.

Involvement in the study lasts up to 27 weeks and includes 6 visits to the Memory & Aging Program.

A person who knows you well and is available to provide information about your day-to-day functioning is also required to accompany you to clinic visits.
